About "... come a little bit closer...."

Final shot of the series. I saw one of our other cats playing a little game of "mouse hockey" with yet another hapless rodent in the back yard yesterday, so I'm guessing that there was still at least one more of them hiding in the compost heap. It must have been like some sort of mouse horror movie in there. Shades of Balin's Tomb, perhaps ("We're trapped... They're coming. They're coming. We can't get out...." LOL...

Hello, Alison - It was a pretty easy capture. Zoey was pretty intent on the poor little squeaker and was quite content to let me snap happily away. I ended up dumping this guy and his friend (whom I also fished out of the compost heap) out in a wooded area down the block, so it's a happy ending after all.

Cheers,

Jon
