About As you can tell the exercise bike has become more useful to the birds than to me! Changed background hue to (more) green for better contrast.

Just a wonderful composition. The green bg is very pleasant too. The 2006 DD really bothers me though.

Cute critter! Good light, colors and details. I like the green background, it does allow that bird to pop!

This is my favourite of your four posts of yesterday Doyle. The details are stunning in this lovely sparrow. The dof is superb and the postwork on the background has given this gorgeous composition a great impact. I have to agree with Ron....your signing in the R/H corner is unfortunate it impinges on the simplistic structure of this gorgeous wildlife study. No great matter as it isn't an intrusion of unwanted material overlooked at the time of composure. Well done to you my friend.....I love it....Ray

Thanks Ray . . . Since this is the second comment about that, perhaps in the future I'll add a little white space below the phot and outside the frame to use text. I appreciate your comments.

your photographs teach again that we don't need expensive equipments to take beautiful pictures
I like them so much

i love this pic, do u have photo shop i have to get that.i have nothing right now maybe thats why my photos look so "raw" i guess thats the word

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99842} 7/20/2006
Not to worry Mike. RAW is actually a term used for the digital data storage method where a camera doesn't convert to JPG . . . and I don't think that your shots are altogether that unrefined. I use Photoshop Elements 4 . . . but you should know that the staff does NOT like to see manipulated photos which are obvious. Touch up here and there . . . add a border . . . that kind of thing's ok.
Are you shooting digital or film? If film . . . you'll need a scanner too.
I appreciate your looking at my portfolio....you'll learn a lot by looking at people's pictures and comments . . . and can ask questions on the spot if any occur to you (A strong UF advantage).

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~
