Nice warm light... at first I wondered if the shack on the left needed to be there, but as soon as I placed my hand over it to remove it I realised that it has to be there as an anchor. Otherwise the board is holding itself up.
Lovely pose and nice expression on the woman. (looks like her tag might be sticking out though!)

Something about this photo is really nice, I think it is the combination of the light(esp the red near her back contrasting with the light coming from the front), the wind blowing her hair and her expression, kind of a sweet longing or something I can't quite describe. It is one of the first pics I have commented on this site. I think because it has that thing about it which I love most about photography, it speaks to me at a level beyond words, and with that I will shut up and go back to looking at it.

gosh this seems silly but I have to say more. Looking at this picture makes me happy. It has all that is in life the memories we have of a day like this at the beach, the complexities of people. I can see your relationship to the girl in the photo and it seems real, more real than so many I have seen. Thank you once again for a wonderful picture. You are a poet w/a lens.
