Some people have this vision of the Japanese as quiet, unemotional, inscrutable even... Boy, you should see a genuine cherry-blossom viewing party! See the row of stalls in the background? They sell all sorts of delicious treats that go well with beer, sake, whiskey, potato liquor... and plenty of everything is drunk. Plenty of people end up that way, too... This is the first of two photos I took that afternoon/evening. The light was quite difficult...
