La luz es muy hermosa pues fluye a través de la parte posteriora de los pétalos. Trabaja bien en crear la profundidad del campo. Amo cómo los pétalos en el primero plano se velan levemente permitiendo los captivating y los pétalos detallados y colores a venir a través en el fondo. Muy hermoso.

a beautiful floral macro. excellent shallow dof, however, I feel that you needed to be a fraction higher (I stress 'fraction')and have the lens tilted slightly downward. this would have pulled the center more into focus without losing too much blur on the foreground petals.

Hi Romy,
This shot looks very, very good in the thumbnails! My first impression when opening it was that I agreed with Saeed about a little more sharpness needed in the middle. Then, with a little time and considering the title, I changed my mind and believe it is fine the way it is. I think you are right to present it with such shallow DOF because of the title alone.

This is not a personal attack on you, but this is exactly why I’m not going to renew my donation status. I only have 1 day to re-up my membership donor status, but I think I’ll pass… I’ve been on this site 1 year…
They keep asking for money and I’ve made the front page 6 times, but only for my critiques, as that is what I do best… So please allow me to do so?
Your composition is wonderful, as well as you’re cropping. Lighting is 2nd to none and the shadows are awesome indeed my friend. Although your focus is lacking big time and there is not 1 square inch in focus regarding this capture… You’re using Carl Zeiss glass for goodness sakes… So you should be able to shot a focused capture and not so Photo Shopped, IMHO…
Once again, this is not a personal attack on you, but you would be the 1st one to agree with me regarding the quality of this photo…
