Good color, light and details. It is difficult to decide how to present clusters of blooms, but I think you did a good job here. The curved stem acts as a lead into the center of the image.

What a delightful name for these lovely flowers. I developed an almost lifelong allergy to learning flower names because my mother was gardening mad and I hated it. My idea of a garden was concreting it all in and painting it green. It's only now, in late life, that I've come to love flowers through the lens of my camera. It's hard to imagine how you could improve on this, Ray. Give Lillie a "Woof" from Kuu Chan.

Another nice Macro floral Ray!
I never get tired of looking at all the great floral shots that people present here. Your florals are starting to stand out with a style of your own. I find that I can quite often guess when it is a "Ray" floral. I'm not really even all that interested in flowers... I still find the patterns, colours and textures fascinating. That's why I like to attempt them myself every now and then.

Wonderful color and shape, really interesting the differnt varieties nature come up with. Ray, i like your new lens, its very good and sharp, your last post of the magnolia and this one are crisp to the detail. I believe that it will hard to chosse the right picture if you've taken many shots of them, looks like a challenging subject. I think you've done justice to this bleeding hearts, you've composed it well, the fp is very well seen. Lovely fuchsia color, very true to the natural thing..

Ray, I just don't know how you so clearly capture so much in your close ups- just astounding. You make me see things I wouldn't see however close I looked with my eye! The colour, lighting and clarity of this is amazing. So strong for such an emotionally named flower!

Most of all it is very lovely definition dear friend! Very thoughtful! Without doubt the picture goes to my favourite-collection! Wonderful background with this soft and fine colour and lightness! The focus of the image is ideal and the cropping can be better from this nice perspective! I wonder how you could illustrate the details both so greatly and so beautifully! What else can I say than my best and honest complement!

looking through the recent florals and this one caught my eye. the colour is magnificent and the details exquisite. not too sure about composition, feels as though it's too straight on. perhaps it needs a pan to the left or right?

Graceful arching of the branch, I like the movement there. With regard to the little flowers, I might have cropped closer on the left side as the flower there is a little bit overexposed (the white under). If you have several other shots, you might try a closer crop just to see if it works.

Ah yes Ray, these bleeding hearts are beautiful, color so rich, details gorgeous and componsition is superb!!
Has been awhile since I've been around Ray, I down loaded a new/free Photo program (Picasa.com by Google) and have been doing the Silver Sneaker (Gym) thing 5 days a week as well to chase my stiffness etc.

The pink tones against the dark background are eye-catching and the out of foocus of the 3 left petals works very well (all of them being in focus would have made this picture too busy)!

First of all.....thank-you for all your comments and in some instances the poetry as above and your words generally. You are a wonderful romantic and a very generous natured UFer. I hope you read my bio and my strange working life and all that it entails.
I was just about to go to bed after my working week finished and discovered all your visits..'Who is this person?' I asked myself.
