Nice one! It looks similar to the view you would get from the Burlington Skyway (bridge) Is it close?
I bet you tried a few different shutter speeds.

Hi Andrzej, Good industrial scene, a bit hazy, but that creates a great effect of the glow around the blastfurnace gas flame and lights, emphasising the heaps of iron ore and coal. Very nice scene... The Oxy-steel factory in the middle acts as a great eye catcher. Great shot!

Hugo, I appreciate your comments, the nice ones. A bit of haze - your good point - says all, without it wouldn't be that soft transitional walk from the warm left to bluish right nor the tonal balance of the picture. Cheers, n.j

What a great industrial shot, Andrzej. Beautiful composition and colors, and panoramic is the perfect format. The scene makes me think of an old British scifi movie, "Quatermass II: Enemy from Space", an old favorite of mine. If you get a chance, you might watch it. I hope your son's not downwind from the plant.
