Lovely LOVELY image quality, GG. Hurrah for Rollie and the Tessar (and Ilford film)! I love the delicate level differences in the blacks, and the hint of back lighting, that make Massimo stand out against the velvety black sky. The effect is almost three dimensional. This looks like a workshop for night-time photography. I wish I could have been there!

Hi Giuliano,
I think this composition is ideally suited / follows from the square MF format. Very well done, and Max sure knows how to pose...
The DoF is, IMO somewhere inbetween, and I do feel a bit ambiguous about it. The buildings in the background aren't quite in focus but also not blurry enough to really separeate Max from his surroudings. I hope you understand what I mean, I find it rather difficult to tell...

Statuario, Max che guarda lontano, molto bella questa immagine, con tutti i toni equilibrati e ben definiti, immagino che il tempo di posa sia stata lunghetto.
