About My sweet little bird and faithful, happy companion through eleven years died last night. A little personality that had much fun, who spoke 80 words/sentences, giggled, caughed and who loved to be pet. The house is so empty now without his happy spirit. My daughter carried him outside and put him in a hole, and we put a little stone on Mansemandīs grave.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Losing a pet is a sad event.

Thanks for your sweet comment, Fatemeh. Losing oneīs pet is awful. Itīs a great joy having a loyal, happy spirited pet, but also a sorrow when it dies. Still I wouldnīt want to live without animals around me, and itīs a good way for my little daughter to learn about life and death.
All the best,
Annemette

Awwwwwwww! I'd give you any bird of your choice if you'd just stop by!

So sorry Annemette- awful to have to teach children about loss. But you have a wonderful picture to record the start of your bird's journey to Heaven.

You would? Youīre so kind! Better watch out that I donīt show up asking for one of your sweet parrots;-))As an animallover you of all know how difficult it is losing oneīs pet. You seem to have many animals, but here the house seems empty without little happy "Mansemand". Good that I have my big dog.:-)
All the best,
Annemette
