Excellent composition and awesome mood.
The decisive moment for this blue colour!
Great!

nice moody landscape.

Eb Mueller   {K:23254} 4/24/2006
Rather minimallistic, simple - the way I like it, Joggie! Although dark in mood, it is not sombre. The composition appears to be a combination of various triangles at the base, trees, and clouds. The blue sky adds pleasant complexity!

I've lost this one: unforgivable for such a beuatiful photo. I love the images made of only two things, in splendid semplicity. This is one: a cloud and some trees and only one plain colour.
Bellissima Joggie.
Ciao.

Giuseppe

You did really well with the exposure here and a scene that works well. Riny

Hi Joggie, The thing that strikes me is how the shape and diagonals of each of the elements assist the other, building up to a very well balanced composition. The rather dark / low brightness of the image fits well with the scene.

I've been toying with the composition a bit, in a way, it's the atmosphere that is the key element in this photo, yet the approach and build up of the frame resembles one of a classic landscpe; not sure if those two elements are the best alternative; going a bit more extreme in the composition, centering the division between land and sky over the vertical would IMO have placed more emphasis on the mood.

I think if you'd either panned down a bit (preserving the current image aspect) or cropped off a large portion off the sky (going for a 2:1 panoramic type of aspect) might've balanced that interaction a bit stronger. Hope you understand what I mean, not sure if I expressed myself properly.

Cheers,

Hugo
