Your contrast is pretty sharp - it looks like both your highlight and shadow detail are lost in some areas. The image itself isn't so much sharp, however. This is the sort of subject that lends itself well to sharp, gritty detail everywhere and I think that kind of gets lost here. I'd go back to the RAW file (you shot this RAW, right?) and use Shadow/Highlight in PS to coax some detail out of both ends of the curve and then be sure to use Unsharp Mask to sharpen this appropriately once you've sized it down for upload. It's a good subject and the composition is just fine - some easy tweaks could make this a much stronger image, though, I think.

I like this work, and your tone choice It's perfect becouse analogous to the subject. Everything at the right place!

Hi Kevin,
Actually the image is tack sharp. I had purposely applied a stark contrast and a little blur lends to the age of the picture.
I will have another look at the sharper version and check which one works better.
