nice documentation of this place Nacho, the grass on the left side is detracting the view of this ancient structure. I wish you could write something about this interesting place, not many people visit this places...
thanks for sharing..

What an elegant piece of architecture this is. Must have been a sight to see in the days of its full splendor. The details are facinating.

i didnt know that libya had such a treasure of ancient artifacts. my first guess when i saw these latest additions was turkey.

libya is just now opening up to tourism, however you seem to have been on work related business. I certainly hope you were able to get into the desert and take equally interesting photos out there as well.

thanks for displaying these photos ~ james

Jose Ignacio (Nacho) Garcia Barcia   {K:92460} 5/14/2006

Jose Ignacio (Nacho) Garcia Barcia   {K:92460} 5/14/2006
Thanks. Archaeolical evidence indicates that al least the eight millenim BC. Tripolitania and Gyrenaica were prosperous roman provinces. Tha mos importan ruins are in Magnus Lapta.
