About reflections. not a Rodeo Drive or Wlshire Blvd. Lady but instead found on one of the side streets. sometimes it pays to keep on looking.
added +2.0 EV to the exposure on the face to help blow it out a bit.

Hi Erik, I like the consistency of this series, and eventhough they all have a different feel, they fit extremely well together. In this one, I like the softness of the tones. The lifeless expression of the doll the use of reflection as well as the camera tilt is a great choice and combination of technical aspects and creativity.

Very subtle lensbaby blur, well handled too! The slightly blown out bits are quite functional. Very solid work, nothing really to nitpick about...:)

Cheers,

Hugo

Hey Erik, congrats on Donor Image Of The Day. Well deserved, of course. This shot has the same interesting angle that your small bottle did, lending an interesting "slant" on an everyday object. Nice daylight ambience here. And the reflections add a LOT to this shot's mood and interest! The background letters help the vibe also. There's sort of a modern retro here, aided by the coor pallatte as well as a sort of Deco element in the reflections. A very good work!

Mark

What a great picture! I love everything about it. The reflections, the tonality and the concept. Its very tastefully composed, great angle. Actually I wanted to buy a costume doll like this when I was in SF this year but ended up with buying only a head part(its a picture of it in my portfolio) I love the almost androgyne look they have.
