Bye Marco.

Andy Eulass   {K:13435} 3/10/2003
Its amazing how tiny they are when they start out, and you conveyed that so well here. Very original composition and very nice toning. Great shot.

Karen Johnson   {K:2951} 3/10/2003
This is a lovely image Elangovan, the foot is so tiny, I like your presentation.

Valeh B   {K:890} 3/10/2003
What an interesting contrast of big and small!

Marília Ferraz   {K:-4496} 3/10/2003
Elangovan, you are right: this is a photo to be proud of. Not only because a newborn is a joy in every one's life but also because it is a very, very good picture.
Marilia

sherman hogue   {K:7} 3/11/2003
I like this shot alot it is simple and well balanced, yet it has alot of feeling to it. Kinda puts you in your place and reminds you of how small we all are!
Good shot
Sherman

Enzo Molino   {K:531} 3/12/2003
Very creative image. Interesting shapes. Evocative. I would think a B&W version could be even better.

Elangovan S   {K:10675} 3/12/2003
Hi Enzo Molino,

Thanks for the comment. If you are interested here is the original version. http://www.usefilm.com/showphoto.php?id=22355

Thanks again.

Moutushi Ghoshdeysarkar   {K:-28} 3/17/2003
You sure have wonderful eyes.

Ralph Friedman   {K:647} 3/20/2003
Hi Elangovan! A wonderful image with good visual and emotional impact. Cloning out the distraction in the upper left would leave it, in photsig terms, "flawless".

Darrin James   {K:3944} 4/2/2003
Extremely emotive photo combined with a great use of natural shapes and framing. A little tiny bit more DOF but that's being very picky.

Connie Sunderland   {K:386} 4/2/2003
I really do love this!! A unique idea and well done... think I like this sepia toned version best... I agree with Ralph.. clone out the dark area in the upper left.. it's very distracting.. other than that... Perfect!!!!

Paulo Gama   {K:5067} 4/3/2003

well done. tells a lot of things......

GP Merfeld   {K:15366} 6/10/2003
A beautiful image, full of the wonder and preciousness of new life. I like your toning and framing, and the position of the hand holding the foot is terrific. I am not totally wild about the shape to the left, as it is a bit distracting. Would be great practice in Photoshop to clone it out ;-))) - but of course, I am always fiddling... Outstanding image, Elangs. Mahalo, GP.

Gil Draper   {K:3194} 6/11/2003
Outstanding idea and execution. Truly creative, I love it.

Subha Pindiproli   {K:10108} 7/2/2003
A beautiful creative shot.. very well thought shot..and great narrow DOF.. what lens did you use.. a 50mm F1.4, or 85mm f1.2??

= subha

Elangovan S   {K:10675} 7/2/2003
Subha, Thanks for posting a comment on this one. To answer your question, I wish I had one of those prime lenses. You know I am a poor photo enthusiast... I used my brother's 28-105 Macro lens at macro mode. Nothing fancy, Subha.

Elangs.

Elizabeth Miller   {K:3362} 7/3/2003
Love it Elangovan!! Added to my favorites.

What a brilliant photo!

Matteo Patrignani   {K:744} 4/22/2004
Very smart idea and a perfect matching between big and small...
Tender protection and/or strong domination are the 2 opposit feelings this immage lights up on my mind.
Great!

Antonia BauerleinSehnert   {K:30036} 1/3/2005
Oh that's great!!!!!! Big smile from me...it's adoreable to say the least. The line around the image looks like a crayon line and I like it a lot. The sepia is very nice with it. Did you see the one that got an EC way back when? It's one of the most popular images on Usefilm...I just noticed it today. http://www.usefilm.com/image/23945.html

Thanks for your kind words about my portfolio. :) T.
