An even creepier version, Andre! Well done!
Dave.

Thanks Dave!
Creepy is starting to become my middle name :)
I'll snap out of it soon :)

Hi Andre, Good use of nudging multiple layers and changing the opacity. The blurry distorted look does work to create a dark side feel. Looking at the others, I think this would also work very nicely with the ones you took at an angle, maybe even stronger... Good work, though, I like how you elaborate on a theme, very interesting to see how the differences in approach manage to create a different feel based on the same theme. Cool stuff!

Cheers,

Hugo

Thanks Hugo,
I usually don't like to use too much "cheap trickery". I have to admit that this wasn't my first intention when preparing this image. I just happened to notice the interesting double patterns that were produced when moving the image around and I thought it was worth a post for that semi evil look that came out of it.

The other skull images were done by creating a lightly blurred layer and merging them together. I tried to be a bit subtle with the blur/glow look, but it is hard to be subtle with that kind of subject.

I think I better start posting some spring flowers to snap out of the "dark stuff" :)

Now this one must have come from the set of Aliens:):):) This is scary Andre, full of evil intent and the recipe for nightmares. An excellent extension to the series my friend and a new avenue of PS fun. Very best wishes as always...Ray

Andre Denis   {K:56069} 4/30/2006
Thanks Ray!
Lighter fare is coming... I promise :)

Might be "cheap trickery" Andre, but boy-oh-boy it's goooood :)) I think Hugo's suggestion to do this on the angled ones would be fun to try. Am totally loving this series...

Cheers
Rina.

Andre Denis   {K:56069} 5/2/2006
Thanks again Rina,
I'll do a few more in the near future. Maybe I'll try something similar to this one again. Maybe create a kaleidoscope effect! That could work!

Thanks again Leo,
I'm glad you are picking a variety of images to comment on. This one is from my "darker side"
Every now and then, I like to try something a little different instead of just straight shots.
Andre

It was really good idea with these layers. I like it.

Andre Denis   {K:56069} 2/21/2007
Thanks once more!
Just playing around with this one, but it seems effective.
Andre
