Kambiz K   {K:37420} 5/2/2006
Is he/she sleepy?
nice one.

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99842} 5/2/2006
Well done Ron . . . nice focus, DOF and colors . . . Someday I'll get a cheetah, they always seem to be sleeping when I'm about!

Regards,
Doyle <-----

What a life. Thanks for the visit Doyle. We got sleepy lions at the Toronto Zoo.

Ron Wilson   {K:18161} 5/2/2006
Thanks for the visit Kambiz. The lions were sleepy. This Cheetah is as lively as they get in a Zoo.

Marcus Armani   {K:35759} 5/2/2006
wow what a beautiful shot of the cheetah, very nice lighting tones and detail, I love the pose you captured, I would have never guessed it was in a zoo, as it looks so natural...

Ron,

How very sad indeed. Nothing towards you, but I feel sad regarding his capture. He has nothing to be happy about being in jail and all...

Well done my friend,

Marty

PS. Maybe call this 1 Spiritless Kitten?

Ron Wilson   {K:18161} 5/3/2006
Martin you sound like you got some fair but strong feelings about zoo animals. Like all we have to make the most of any situation.
Thanks for the visit. Regards Ron.

Thank you Marcus. I would guess that is as much as a compliment as I can get. For whatever reasons I don't want my zoo shots to be indicitive of the surroundings. That will be my challenge when I go to the zoo. Even though the Toronto Zoo is a real paradise.

Hi Ron,
Very nice close-up shot on this relaxing cheetah. Well captured

Mireille Heirendt   {K:7258} 5/20/2006
Hi Ron,
Amazing wildlife shot, although from the Zoo!
I know too well how difficult it is to get such a close capture of this beautiful animal in nature.
Thanks for sharing!
Mireille

Thank you Mireille. I visited your folio and I guess that you would know firsthand. You have many nice pics. Your flower shots are outstanding. Regards Ron.

Great shot Ron.

Not sure how I never managed to happen upon your cheetah pictures before, as they are my favourite animal.

All the best,
Ed
