This is one of several postcards I have put together of the Champange Pool at Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Valley, Rotorua;I hope to get these commercially printed if not too costly! ;O)

Hi Tabitha,
My first impression upon opeing this image was -"OK, a postcard", and reading your about, it seems that was exactly your intention, so it's pretty successful, IMO...
One little thing, I would place the text "Champagne pool"inside the photo, not overlapping the frame, I think that would make it just a bit more consistent with the Rotorua text in the lower left.
I presume it's the resizing that's to blame here, but the photos themselves seem a tad on the soft side - think that might show if you print them, but I cannot judge that in this size.
Good idea! Why don't you show these to a postcard company? that'll reduce the risks (as well as the revenues, though) of having them printed yourself. Just a thought.

Hi Hugo!, thanks for another insight for these series of postcards.. yes the champange text has bugged me for ages, i did try putting it in the photo and thought it may take away some of the image, I will have another go!The original file is definately sharp, this version is small. Thanks also about the idea of finding a postcard company, I will endevour to do that, although it seems that they tend to get printed in cheaper countries!, still I like the idea of less risk & financial outlay! ;O)
