About A little artistic licence for a most beautiful abbey here in North Yorkshire.

May not be to everyone's taste but I would be interested in any comments - I will upload the smaller original at a later date for comparison.

This was converted using an Infrared filtering technique.

Steve, this is meets my taste big time, I like it to the maximum, but i have a question, was the IR doing by adding a filter to the lense or was it don on a post processing,
Very well done and keep up the good work, Regards,

Stephen Bowden   {K:64540} 5/10/2006
Hi Ameed,

This was done post processing using the colour IR filter from a suite of tools called Nikon Color EFEX Pro.

Hi Stephen,
I'm horrible with remembering stuff I learn about post-processing, but I have to ask with the hopes that it will still in my tiny brain...

Does the Nikon Color EFEX Pro work with the CR2 files or did you have to convert to TIF or JPG or something????

Good to see you again. Wish I could do with my 20d what you do with yours...

Stephen Bowden   {K:64540} 5/26/2006
Hi Sue,
Lovely to see you again :-)

I always work on the jpeg and leave the raw files totally unedited.

Saying that, I do adjust the raw files but save the output in either tif or jpg and then work on the output file.

If you have a fast computer then you can play with the tif file. My pc has lots of junk on it so it is not too fast so I play with the jpeg instead lol

Hope that makes sense :-)

Steve
