About I sneak in inside the parade and called the attention of this participant to look back, a quick shot. I see that it is not very sharp maybe because of the quick focus and the light was getting low at the time of capture, they were dancing and moving foward.

Those are some colorful costumes. Your dancer has a radiant smile. Good candid of the parade.

I agree, you should have taken it with much significance in the girl who is looking back..But i agree, that you had a very little time for this.. Impressive and nice photography.

Although they all were wearing such an eye-catching things with their shows and moves, but it wasn't enough deterrent for her as she's in the end of line, may be it doesn't care as no one can see her or your lens looks irresistible for her!
in brief, this's the successful capture, the unexpected decisive moment!
regards

Probably just a little camera shake, but this is one way cool grab shot nonetheless! Well done for having the courage to jump in there amongst those swinging hips!! Great work...

Cheers
Rina.

The lack of sharpness on the girl's face is indeed really a pity. Otherwise, it would be the perfect snapshot. Cropping a bit from the top makes the colours stand out even more (the building and sky don't add anything). Just an idea.

This was a good idea, and she is very cute--lovely smile! Is that national dress of one of the peoples of the Philippines? Or just a parade costume? The soft focus doesn't bother me, but the reds look over-saturated.

Hi Roger, no this is not a national costume , it has a similarity of the costume coming from this region but not the exact one, I think this is for the parade purpose only. The red is a bit saturated from the original shot, I had to look at the original photo to verify the color. The light here is warm already, the sun set after 15 mins, thus the red was already saturated naturally.
Thanks for the comment...

Yes indeed Karina, its a pity I didn't get it right but I liked the image that i couldn't resist sharing it with UF. I already did some cropping of the sky here, I think next time I should have taken this kind of shot at a higher angle to concentrate the image on the colors of the costume.. If I should crop some more, I think I will eliminate a big part of their head wear which I think I should include in the image..
thanks for the comment.

Yes, too bad about the focus, but a nice street shot nonetheless. Very colorful and I love her beautiful smile.

What a wonderful sunny smile you received Bobot from one of these excellent parade participants. Goodness me but heart and soul are put into this event my dear friend. I think that considering the rush to get the shot you have done very well. It doesn't look unsharp and there is only a slight hint of movement in the parade. Well done on this beautifully captured colourful parade. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

I didn't read the about fist as I always like to look at the picture fist and try try to figure out the scene. That wonderful smile on the little girls face certianly caught my attention right off. The mood is one of fanfare and fun especially with all the beautiful costumes. What a delightful image.
