I have seen scenes of flagellation on TV. People really get in deep, don't they? Thanks for sharing this with us in your photos.

The flagellation to remember the Jesus Christ's via crucis two thousand years ago... Very interesting "about", for a good journalism shot...

The colors and the arrangement of the boats (bancas) and the calm waters nicely contrasted against the the brutal main subject of the photo.

Hi Bobot.....a very real instance where beliefs are tested to extremes. A fascinating insight to this ritual my friend. What religion do they follow? Wonderful depth to this great piece of journalistic photography and thoughtfully composed as well. Great piece of work Bobot. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

Astonishing dear! Lovely to see a picture that learn much at the same time. Thanks for sharing the image and the information. Although I don’t believe that this ceremony should be the same Ceremony Fatemeh heard about, I have any way the same enquiry. Would you please give more details or perhaps through some others pictures and illustrations. Best regards: Maxime
