David, this bush was right on the edge of the park road, so it would not have been possible to use a blind. The birds had grown accoustomed to shuttle and tour busses stopping to look at them. I was able to photograph with a 500mm without disturbing them. And, as these birds were accomodating, I photographed them a number of times over several days, shooting about 20 rolls of film on them.
