The dof is so extreme... did you modified it with PS or is it the original from your sonnar?
Maybe it's the sharp effect of the USM that emphatize this sensation. The edge around the girl is probably too much.

nothing modified in this picture, extremally dof (f4 from 2 meters) makes some abberation on edges, thanks for all for comments

This picture is simply perfect. It is a Nirvana of a portrait photographer! I strongly feel the ;loneliness' when I look at this picture! It looks as if the poor little girl is alone in the planet! Excellent work!
