Laurie it's gorgeous, such a difference in the mood the IR makes, beautifully done, I really like your composition with the walkway as a lead-in. It looks like that camera and modification are working for you. Do you know if it's safe to use the IR filter with the 20D. I've heard yes and no...nice work!! Hugs!!

Thanks Linda! I'm having a lot of fun with IR photography these days. I don't think an IR filter will work very well with the 20D. From what I've heard the exposures have to be really long when using a filter and even then the results are not always great. I sent my rebel to a company called lifepixel and they removed the filter inside my camera so now it's a dedicated IR camera and I can use any shutter speed I want.

Hi Laurie: You gotta be a IR specialist to modify
your camera, this image alone makes it worthwhile.
Really beautiful image that`s why I posting twice.Very peaceful, serene image which I find relaxing to look at.Wonderful composition and tones.
CONGRATS ON A MASTERPIECE.

Thank you for your kind comments Robert! I'm having a lot of fun with the IR and the modification has made it so easy. Not having to fumble around with filters is sooooo nice! :)
