About Yesterday was the legal seperation of of the local telephone division of Sprint/Nextel. The launch of EMBARQ could be seen from the highway as this gigantic multi-story sign.

I'm wishing this group the best, since I worked for a time in their good company, but as new competitors in the market I'm also hoping we give them a good run for the money.

Cheers,

Hugo -

Not cyncial - just happy and sad. I have many people I've worked with that are now part of EMBARQ. We still are working closely to get everything seperated, but realistically we are now competitors in the open market.
