Such a marvelous capture of this beautiful face. Maxine looks great for 85. There is a lot of living in her face and I am sure she has many stories to tell. There definately is a look of contentment here. 65 years of marriage is a long time--good for them.

Wonderful portrait of this old woman, she does look the way you describe her, I guess she had this pretty smile because of the cinnamon she had.. : ), So nice of you to be taking their pictures, I believe that they appreciate it very much. These cafe kids are not getting younger anymore.. : ) great capture, I like the dark background it concetrated the focus on her face..

This is a fine BW portrait Susie, magnificent tonal range and detail without being over sharp. Very natural look capturing personality.
"Agree to disagree"....damn, i've had it backwords all these years...no wonder I'm unattached!!
If I were to nitpic, it looks to me like her left eye lacks some twinkle her right eye has, some judicious PS could help, but it's a minor thing.

Another wonderful monotoned portrait of a very charming and delightful older Cafe Kid and yet another of so many of your posts I missed whilst away on holiday.
