This an amazing capture of one of the most beautiful landscapes. It's a breathtaking view. The only thing I would change is to move the cut in the bottom upwards and cover the sore foreground (with small plants and gravel).

Thanks for sharing. Very well done.

Cheers

Interesting comment Dev. I initially thought the verry same thing about cropping out some of the foreground portion, since that part of the scene is not nearly aesthetically appealing as the rest. However, after trying a crop, I noticed the entire image then lost a measure of balance as well as pop. That foreground area adds an important measure of brightness and contrast to the scene. In my opinion giving the entire image a slight boost overall. It also adds a little more dpth as well as takes the eye (so I believe anyway) into the crater and out to the sky. I do have other compositions as well as closeups I will post another time. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. Is always appreciated. Aloha.

This was one of my favorite areas of Maui. I really like how there is so much green interspersed in the scene. When I was there it was far dryer. I really like the extended depth of field and composition. A very beautiful photo.
