Roger, are you using a hair light, or is there a light behind her? I like the strong light on her hair. But I think the key light should be a little brighter. It's almost having to compete with the backlight. I do like the shadow on the side of her head though. Nice work. I need to work with mine more, and get some more interesting shadows going on.

Roger, I don't think you should burn the hair. I really like the hair. Maybe if you brightened the face just a little bit. Looking at it today, I'm really not sure it needs anything done to it. It's a very pretty portrait.
