The colours are beautiful and I like the composition Michael. I'm not so sure about the coice of aperture though. I think if you went closer, focussing on the pollen as your main subject, the chosen fstop would have worked perfectly. In this case though the a part of the closest petal is in sharp focus while the rest of the petals, with some interesting details, are out of focus. With this composition and magnification ratio I would go for a smaller aperture to get the whole flower in sharp focus aginst an evenly blurred background. A beatiful image nonetheless. Great comment. I don't have flash and have to adjust aperature to lighting. Hoping to change that this year but sinking money right now into gallery work.
