A very nice abstract!
I happen to disagree with Manu in this case. I think you have hit the saturation just right for this kind of shot. the muted, subtle textures show up very nicely in the upper and lower thirds of this image. I find it very pleasing this way.
I went for a very bold saturated look on my last plant (fern image) but before I posted it, I tried a de-saturated look similar to yours above. It just didn't seem right for the plant. However the subtle colouring of this image works very well and is very easy on the eyes.

Superb simplicity and antagonist placement of the "sexy building parts" ...:) Well exposed.
I was about to comment on the saturation, but then I read your replies; Still maybe you could've emphasised it a bit more, and perhaps even use a multi-layer blend (partial multiplication and partial soft light layer modes)
The simplicity of this photo is striking, though. Very well captured.
