i like your idea, and the photo is funny and unusual. the effect might be stronger if the eye was closer to the hole so as to fill that empty space ;-)

Hi Abel,
Great to see you found your drive again, as well as your unrivalled creativity. Very, Very cool shot. Just needs some finetuning in the technical things, IMO....
Kostas' comment is great, I think holding the record closer to your eye ( or using a zoom lens, making the eye appear to be bigger through the hole) would already increase the impact and effect.
Another thing is that I think a slightly wider DOF could've worked too, as it would fade the focus more subtle, if you see what I mean. Maybe a very wide DOF could work too, applying some local fade in PS, or perhaps use a lensbaby to emphasise the area around the record.... Great stuff! Keep 'm coming!
