About I've had several requests by customers and retailers alike to photograph this location. This beach, on the far north shore of the island is protected by an outer reef. The calm clear waters inside the reef make for first class snorkeling. I will post a second version another time. As always, any opinions are appreciated. Aloha.

Increible color...

While "colors" are always a little more intense the closer one gets to the equator, I purposefully wait until mid summer before getting the gear really cranking for these types of locations. I still enjoy shooting year-round, especially regarding sunsets, waterfalls and flora (due to being a rainier time) and other kinds as well. However, for beach locations with turquoise waters like this, you absolutely get noticably better results photgraphing strictly in mid-summer, at mid-day. Of course, you also must use a polarizer.

Oh wow! The contrast between the orange sand and the turquoise water is awesome! I honestly can't see anything in this shot I would change, Vincent.

wow, i wanna go to hawaii!
what a gorgeous image! great colours and composition.
i like the movement of the waves. theres something on the distant shore, people or something, i find it a bit distracting but apart from that is great.

Vincent - this is an awesome shot - absolutely clear - perfect, well done. I will be there in a few weeks - thanks for this impression.
