About I was shooting night shots of the neon at the town movie theatre and this cowboy was hanging around out front. He stood in this position so long, I had forgotten he was real. I got used to him being there and actually was shocked to find out he wasn't a statute, even though I had seen him move before.

So I decided to focus in on him and make him the subject of my shots. Turns out he wasn't waiting for the movie (one movie showing a night), he was waiting for the manager to put up the new marquee so he could help.

Little did he know, he was the perfect model for my long exposure (1 second at f5.6)

Glad to hear he was out front Dave, there for a minute I was thinking that this tile looks strangely like some restrooms I've seen. LOL

arrrrghhhh, I can't keep my balance straight to save my life, am blind in one eye and can't see out of the other... and you, you have to make fun of me... hahaha

the good news is, Brokeback Mountain WASN'T playing... but this did remind me of the Village People.

hi, i always get a kick out of the huge belt buckles...LOL..and them be some tight jeans!;>
I like his placement within your framing and the warm glow...but,the light on his face is muddy...
i would have thought that with the large brim, his face would have been more in shadow which would work fine here....maybe a contrast tweak would change the face definition?...just a thought
regards,gayle

Yes. That is the real deal, rodeo belt.
Really enjoyable portfolio so far, crunched on time, but wanted to let you know I like what I am seeing so far.
