Great capture John. I think this was the perfect time to take this picture. As you mentioned the patterns in the sand and lighting are superb. Great details and the silhouettes of the ferris wheel and buildings are interesting.

Very nice silhouettes here along with the warm sky balanced with it's reflection. Well seen and taken. Exposed just right to give enough detail to keep the viewer's interest. The black objects in the lower right (rocks?) add some mystery to the shot.
