That is a beautiful sight! The sunlight gives the city a warm glow. The details are sharp. I would love to see the city of lights, my Great Grandmother was a Parisian before she immigrated to Louisiana.

That's quite a city, Dave! How fortunate that you hadn't filled up your card :) Very nice view!

Nice light and imposing view, Dave! Looks to be very densely built up - unlike my impression of Winnipeg.

Nice effect with the light breaking through. Sure looks dense with population. Right side edge seems blurry in shot?. Great landscape though. Well done.

Beautifully shot Dave with excellent lighting and fabulous details. The Church/Cathedral looks absolutely majestic as it towers over the rest of this wonderful Parisienne cityscape. Well done to you my friend, a great scene perfectly taken.

I am just back from several weeks of holiday as indeed you appear to be. I am hopelessly behind on everything so it's a quick visit to all friends just now with the hope that when time permits I shall return to look at your shots that I missed whilst away. 'See' you soon Dave. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

very uncommon shot to this famous church, and i have to say that it is greatly effective with all that crowd of buildings bellow it. the lighting is wonderful as well. so nice composition!!!!

Virgis Dromantas   {K:4212} 7/5/2006
It is unusual photo of Paris. Unfortunately, I haven't been in that city, so from so called 'classic' photos I have had other view about Paris. You extended that view. Thanks. All of the best to you.

Phillip  Minnis    {K:13452} 7/25/2006
I had to take another look at this one, Dave!

This scene brings back very happy memories for me! I remember, well, dining in a wonderful little restaurant opposite the steps of the Sacre Coeur, during our visit to the fabulous city!

Cheers

Phil
