About didn't have a tripod, did not want to up the ISO and the background was bright but boring. Improvise, rotate camera vertically during slow shutter speed.

your creative photographic approach deserves congratulations...the resulting image isn't equally great in my opinion...improvise not only to save dull situations but with originally nice images as well ;-)

Thanks for being honest Kostas, I still enjoy looking at this photo but must say I like the idea of cropping out most of the top and leaving it as a aquare photo. Obviously I am not entirely happy with it either.
