Thank you very much, Luis! Your comments are very much appreciated!

Cheers

Phil

PS Pardon my ignorance - but what does TFS mean?

Luis Limchiu   {K:3168} 6/12/2006
I too miss the meaning for a long time. It's a short for "thanks for sharing"

Phillip  Minnis    {K:13535} 6/12/2006
Oh, sorry, Luis, I was having a senior moment (and I'm not even 50 yet! LOL )

Cheers

Lubi Star   {K:3903} 6/12/2006
Phil you already know that i like both composition and theme in your collage... impo the use of colour reduces its "strength" by destracting the eye to each of the pics thus not allowing to absorb it as a whole... think the monocromatic version works better for me... still impressive work i admit but it's just personal taste that i like more the metallic version... hope you don't mind... best regards...
Lubi

Phillip  Minnis    {K:13535} 6/12/2006
Oh, Lubi, I agree with you.

I prefer the one called 'Fork Study'.

When you get the chance to see it, you will see that it is a revised version of yesterday's 'A Study of Six Forks'. It is probably as good as I can get it! I just hope I've entered it into the right project!! LOL

I did this coloured one simply for a bit of fun. I think, as a poster, it would have some appeal.

I am very greatful for your comments! Much appreciated!

Cheers

Phil

Chris Boivin   {K:9030} 6/12/2006

Phillip  Minnis    {K:13535} 7/9/2006
Oh, thanks, my friend, Joel!

Yes, I was sitting at my computer two nights ago, and I received three award notifications. Two for this one and the other was a BIP for The Pianist. I could not believe it - three all at once! And, the fork collage was put up weeks ago! LOL

It just goes to show, the judges must look back through the projects to select photos that missed out originally.

You have not been on for a while, have you been away, again, since returning from the US? When are you off again?

When are we going to see some more photos?

Cheers

Phil

Joel Aron   {K:14920} 7/9/2006
yeah... Phil, you're probably correct... the UF staf must go back on images and award them. Several weeks ago, I got an award for an abstract that I posted months ago! ...not complaining!!

I'm back in the US, but have been so busy. We had a 3 day work week here in the states for July 4th... so had to cram a week into 3 days of work, and fly to Burbank for one of the days. I just walked around the house like a zombie today... hense the fact that I now I have time to relax and look at everyones new images!

I love these colored forks! ....great to look back on images, and see life in them as time goes on! ....thsoe UF people have great taste!

cheers phil! ..catch ya later!

-j
