I HATE IT!

It's almost like a mirrored funhouse, only at the lake. I keep looking in, and find myself finding more to look IN to. Layers of layers of lovliness.

Nice job, Gayle.

Gayle's Eclectic Photos   {K:91003} 6/12/2006
hehehe...thanks,i think? ;>
and how many did you throw down at da barBQ?..hmmmm? ...LOL...

Gayle's Eclectic Photos   {K:91003} 6/12/2006
did ya even click to see it as a pano????...man,you are a piece of work,Paul ;>
How does your wife manage?! hehehe

Chris Boivin   {K:9030} 6/12/2006
Hi Gayle.
I didn't even know we had the option to put up pano shots like that... neat.
I do like this image. Sooo much to look at. The lighting and tones really keeps your eyes moving around the picture. Only one thing that kind of seemed out of place to me and it isn't that big. About a third up from the bottom of the picture there seems to be a lighter section then the rest of the picture. My eyes seem to always go back to this point. I also like the way that the edges are blurred which also brings your attention back to the center of the image.
Cheers,
Chris

whoa Totally cool shot GH

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99842} 6/12/2006
Wow Gayle. Beautiful . . . Poetry, indeed! I adore the colors in this, a soft, metallic-like blue permeating the entire composition. Very evocative. Impressive.

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Very cool reflections Gayle. What a moody shot. This reminds me of the opening shot of a movie (a scary one!)
Susie

Paul Lara   {K:81613} 6/12/2006
Yes, my evaluation was of the larger image, not the thumbnail, silly. Although, you could have made it larger than 1000x426. I think as long as the smallest side doesn't exceed 850, it's cool, which means you could have posted an image twice as big (if you dare).

Yes, I'm a piece of work...in progress. ;)

Gayle's Eclectic Photos   {K:91003} 6/12/2006
oh thanks,i never know how large to size it for a pano other than the ratio...;>

Gayle's Eclectic Photos   {K:91003} 6/12/2006
Thanks,Chris..yeah,i saw that lighter area, too, and tried darkening it but it didn't look right...it is just how the sunlight streams over the water giving it a lower contrast...this is one image and not a true stitched pano, but when sized right (i could have gone larger)it is a cool format and better than just a wide format...you can take a suitable image and crop down to a 2:1 or similar ratio and size it whatever length as long as the height is not more than 850pixels (i was told)

Marija Ristic   {K:5066} 6/12/2006
Yes, a lovely abstract with surreal mood created by shades and reflections. I like your choice of blue tones...very relaxing, and somehow, imagination promting. A whole new world to discover down there, huh:)?
Very nice work!

Rina     {K:26830} 6/12/2006
Nice one Gayle. I think you work magic with the blue tones too. Wonderful to see this in pano...

Say, which project do you really think this should this be in? There's also "Reflections" ya know, but I don't want to confuse you. Dang, I wish I could tell you for sure... ;D

Gayle's Eclectic Photos   {K:91003} 6/13/2006
Thanks for feedback,cookie...yeah,i thought about reflections, too, and may change it to that because there are multiple reflections within the image ;>

Kamran Bakhtiari   {K:16465} 6/13/2006

Outstanding Gayle! Like the "blue mood" of the reflections--a neat natural abstract. Just plain SUPER!! Regards--Bill V.

Marlyce Chastain   {K:4059} 6/18/2006
Wow, I agree with the mirrored funhouse, but I love the funhouse, after all I live in one :) I really love the reflections and lines. To me it looks very peaceful.

Very nice, Gayle! The toning is beautiful... great eye on this. I always admire these types of shots because it is probably something I would never even notice or think to photograph!

I hope you had an awesome birthday!

Wonderful multiple reflections in this beautifully toned composition my dear Gayle. There is an excellent busyness in amongst the reeds and grasses. Stunning shot and excellent postwork. Well done to you.....'See' you again soon.....Ray

Marcus Armani   {K:35759} 6/24/2006

Mark Julian   {K:35624} 6/30/2006
Yeah, this one's good, it's spooky - freaks me out. There's SOMETHING in there and it's coming at me...I'm beginning to hear voices, but there's no one around/up over my head, nothing but clouds of blood. I guess it's that time of the year.....

Theresa Rankin   {K:938} 7/3/2006
Again excellent mastery of composition and manipulation.
Theresa
