About A cold morning, with the icy clouds covering the highest peaks of the Outeniqau Mountains. This view is from the Ballots Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, about 10 km from home, where I often visit due to a current development project.

A beautiful series of diagonal lines in the mid section of this delightful composition Joggie. I love the pastel colours of this well detailed landscape, so like a watercolour in the artworld. I love too the misty glimpse of the distant mountains and the rolling clouds dipping beneath their height. Well done to you Joggie, a well composed shot. Best wishes to you....Ray

It doesn't look cold - looks like a nice spring scene. Grand landscape! Well done.

Thanks Melissa - George is located in a zone receiving rainfall through the year and the landscape is very rarely not green - 2 days before this was taken a cold front moved pass and dropped some 100mm of rain and brought quite cold conditions.

We have a town in Washington state called George but it is the exact opposite of yours. Very dry desert area where the beauty is the sagebrush. - A great place for you (the bug master) to find bugs. :)

Very pleasant landscape with appropriate sense of distance given by gradation in tones from the slight haze. Very fine, Joggie!

Ahhh... Joggie, thank you for the green fix. I am getting so tired of red mesas and brown sand...

Thanks for bringing me all these great scapes of South Africa. I've never understood how beautiful it is there. Great hilly scene you've captured.

Best wishes,
Dave
