A really good portrait, Sheila! The eye focus is spot on! Excellent!

Hi Sheila, I have finally reached the 19th!!!! Thank goodness for that!!

Again, I find this to be a wonderful mono toned composition. I love the informal appearance of this nicely thought out study, the lovely expression caught on his face and the relaxed tilt to the head with the right shoulder showing ahead of the left. I love too the crop and the perfect dof. Well done to you sweetie....All the best....Ray

Wonderful tones and nice angles . . . (I'm just beginning to learn portraiture) . . . I love the B&W on this, the expression . . . the about . . . and you have those eyes down pat! The BG would have worried me (I'm sure I'd have had tree branches looking like antlers sprouting from his head) but you certainly mastered that with a perfect DOF. Nice work!

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Sheila, I can't comment on the good/bad of this photo as I don't do people this big yet. I can tell you what I do know....I like it. It holds my eye, it has personality and the DOF is right on. Good job in my opinion

Okay, you made me laugh out loud with this comment. I guess you are used to shooting MUCH smaller people- and you are SO good at it too!
