| About |
This is one of several photos i took of the new Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in my hometown of Springfield, Illinois...It was taken with the sepia tone on a cloudy day, so brightness and contrast was adjusted...

i think a tighter crop would help the patterns created by the various lines to stand out better (according to my personal taste of course... i do strain the word "personal")... still, i agree with the sepia toning to emphasize the picīs forms... may i suggest another vesrion? i hope you donīt mind... regards... Lubi

No problem Lubi, i dont mind, that is precisely what I am on here to learn...Thanks for the comment and suggestions, I definitely like the crop that you provided as well as the orginal...One thing that i didnt really like in the original was the patch of sky at the top, and you solved that problem...but i didnt really want to miss the pattern of the marble on the pillar closer to the bottom and some of the shadows underneath the beams, both of which arent that important to the overall pic but they add a little i guess...Thanks very much once again for your critique and suggestions ALex
