Dave, beautiful rose, nice composition, nice detail, but looks a little noisey (IMO)might be the way you wanted it, I would try a shot DIG ASA100 at f8.0 -f11.0, just a suggestion, nice shot though.

Very nice. One of my favorite subjects. I hope the water drops are natural. I know adding some "dew drops" adds to the photo, but finding them there makes it a nicer rememberance as you look back at your own work. At least that's how I feel. Nice bokeh, good use of DOF. I like it a lot, congrats on an excellent capture. Steve

That is a beautiful color! The light and details are excellent in this image. The water drops add a lot of depth to the rose. DOF is perfect, allows the bloom to pop out of the frame.
