Hmm, a little dark? On my screen, maybe a tad, but that was what I was after. I did burn the shadows of the cliff but I wanted that blue sky to dominate so as to outline the tree itself.

I was unsure whetehr to even post this. Though I thought it was most interesting, I went back and forth over choosing a far-off shot or this zoom. I'm still not sure I am happy with it.

Hi Dave, maybe it isn't as dark as I thought but I do think you have a lot of detail in that rock that you could bring out without hurting the tree. That blue is very intense as it is now.

it almost reminds me of a lightning bolt coming up from the earth and blooming. maybe give it a go in B&W ?
