For those that don't know, a hotshot is a wildland firefighter. This is one of the Navajo Hotshots on his way to a large wildland fire near Las Vegas, New Mexico.
This is my entry to the Arnold Newman tribute.

Wow, tonal range is near on perfect. Like the slightly upward angle on this too [or at least it doesn't seem straight-on to me].
Great portrait Dave. The Hotshot looks Steve Austin-ish, very cool.
