Apologies for the scan, it was scanned prior to buying a film scanner.

Suggestion: use of a graduated filter would reduce the difference between the brightness of sunlit and shadow areas. I think that would improve the photo, although it is nice as it is.

I did use a Grad ND filter for this shot, but it could do with some more PS work as it is an older image.

way too much saturation looks like you compensated 1 1 1/3 ev (polorizer or mainpulation evident) I have nothing against maniplation
when done properly.. this almost takes on a comicbook-like appearance

Your touched up version is a definite improvement in my opinion. The reduced saturation makes a much "gentler" picture. I also like the lessened bluishness of the shade area. The whole photo now seems more unified.

This is beautiful, I especially like the sunlight on the warm rocks, with shade on the cool water. Beautiful reflections, great colour and composition.
