About Melville Pond - Portsmouth, RI

1.3 seconds - f/10 - iso 100 - 28mm

Thick fog yesterday, so I stopped off at one of my favorite spots. Shot RAW, adjusted in ACR and slight hue/saturation to add the warm tone.

Very great landscape and with wonderful expouser here, I like the fog effect on teh background as well as the composition. Very great contrast and love the tone.

All of the best my friend.

Definitely a stronger image than MP I. I can only tell you (of course, all of this is my opinion only . . . actual truth may vary), that judging from the thumbnails I think the pattern of light between the trees (three versus four) seems to show technical competence in composition in both. But there is that little something extra . . . the poetic or artistic touch perhaps . . . that seems to be prominent here, but not there. The conversion is good and the warming filter was a great idea.
Nicely done!

Hi Chris,

I liked this one very much for it's dreamy effect and composition is great too. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
