About I took 1/2 of this picture named 'Stairway to Heaven' and had some in-sightful critues to focus more on the center. . . With my camera at this time + or my lack of abilities...this is the best I was able to get. so what do You think ?

I think Im tired and out of breath just looking at it! Woops maybe that is because I have stayed up all night! lol
I think Michele....( not that my thoughts would mean a whole lot ) I just know what I like and what I don't

You shot this the best you could I think. Your point of focus IMHO is where it should be, on the printing. It looks like you used a smaller
f/stop which gave you more depth of field which gives you acceptable focus through out the intire
focal range of the image. Its a good shot.
The only thing I see that you could have done is got it just a tad more even. It looks like it maybe leaning just a bit, ever so slightly to the left. That is just nit picking I know. You can adjust it in ps or most programs or just be aware of that when shooting .......These are things which I really key on when shooting.
Its really a good pic with the camera your using I think.
Michele, On cameras, I bought the eos 350D XT Rebel cause it was small and thought it would be easier to use. Now I think I would perfer the bigger one like the nikon D70 but then If I got that I would more than likely want the smaller one. lol Thats about the way it goes I recon.
I have been told that the canon is a really good
quality SLR and I have seen some really got images from ones that have learned to use it well and the price has really dropped. They are now about 650 I thing without the lens. (just body) You might think about that.
Then of course we could help each other! lmao

Ok better run and get ready for church!!
Take care my friend and Ill talk to you again soon!
Hope you have a great day!!!

Paul

Now that's what I'm talking about! A wider DOF and different POV . . . good focus on the letters . . . beautiful blue sky suggesting the white balance has been adjusted (PS?) and awesome, well saturated colors.
The image seems to lean slightly to the left and I would have composed the shot with the focus point (N.21) no quite so centered . . . but everything else seems great! A much better image and one to be proud of!!

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Thank You Doyle ,
I do listen and try. No PS use as of yet, but any day now ! I agree with the tilting to the left......can't wait for the new camera + PS knowlege . .soooo much to learn so little time !
You've made my day !
