What a lucky find. I prefer this view because I like seeing the rope in its entirety. The low setting sun casts lovely shadows and I like the watermarks in the sand which I personally hadn't noticed in your gold version, though I love the colour in that one. Cathy

There is something really appealing about this. I like the textures and shapes and the way the rope points us to somewhere beyond the frame. Lovely shadows. Neat shot.
