Alain Mijngheer   {K:14745} 7/9/2006
Howie,
A peculiar picture this is.The sea almost total blured and it gives the feel of 2 men fishing in the clouds standing on top of a mountain.
i like it.
Grtz,

Alain

Very nice image! I like what you've done with it. The 30 second exposure gives the effect that they've been standing there for a long time! Nice work! :)

Interesting to extend the "standard" long exposure water shot to the fishermen - and it works. We can see that they have been actively fishing during the exposure, but they seem to have been almost motionless while the water (and the world) washes around them - a good impression of the meditative state of a fisherman. The mood is also excellent.

Works for me col shot with just the right amount of movement

Cheers

Another superb combination of blurry elements and very sharp details on one and the same photo. This one has also the touch of solitude and silence escpecially because of the blueish hues in the background and on the sea.

Excellent work!

Best wishes,

Nick
