The rock formations look great and have wonderful detail Ale but I appear to be in a minority with these kinds of water movements. Yes the technique of a long exposure gives remarkable effects but the results do not look like water tumbling through those wonderful boulders. All the best to you my dear friend.....Ray

I appreciate your critical comment to my image my friend Ray. I am remained fascinated so much from this kind of shot, the long exposure on the water, watching the photos of Ian Cameron here on UF. And therefore, I had the intention to experiment the same technique. These are only studies of this technique. If you watch his photos, clearly better, I think that will like it you too! Wow !!! Great shot Ale. So hard to tell if it is snow...or water until close up and large image. Very soft tones. This is soothing and the color creates the conflict which I appreciate very much.

MOlto bella anche questa della serie.
Cosa succede se ti abbassi ancora? Dici che si riesca a prendere la nebbiolina dell'acqua che si rompe sui sassi? magari con 10 minuti di esposizione e il diaframma ancor più chiuso.
Provaci tu che io in analogico perderei tempo e pazienza :)

Il prossimo week end spero proprio di riuscire a torna re in questo posto, un torrente vicino alla mia casa di montagna..sperimenterò ancora, alla ricerca della famigerata nebbiolina! Col digitale chiaramente posso fare tutti i tentativi che voglio..c'è da dire che però la mia macchina ha delle regolazioni limitate..apertura massima f/2.8..minima f/5.6..raggiunge l'f/10 solo a zoom massimo..che è poi un 3x..in compenso l'esposizione arriva ai 30s! Vedrò!
