Interesting shot Paul.

I really like the peeling paint.

Is this a straight shot or did you manipulate it at all?

All the best,
Ed

Paul Lara   {K:86864} 7/8/2006
This is a fairly straight shot.
My manipulation was limited to masking the sign in its own Photoshop layer and sharpening and brightening it a little, and adding grain and softness to the rest. No, the paint was what caught my eye and made me park my car and walk back for the shot.

all the very best dear Paul,

The grain on the ceiling was what I was curious about. Thanks for the clarification Paul.

All the best,
Ed

Yeah, the sign had tons of texture, so just a simple sharpen was all I wanted there to emphasize the peeling paint. The ceiling was a little too plain for my mood, so I gave it some grain. Does it fit or not?
